Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast who was previously a member of both the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman took home three gold medals in the 2012 Olympics which took place in London. She also took home a bronze medal on the balance beam. She was the first Olympic gymnast who won the most medals. At the 2016 Olympics she was awarded a gold medal for the team competition, earning her and her teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having been one of the very first Americans to win back-to-back team golds. Additionally, she took home two silver medals for the floor exercise as well as individual all-around. Between her two Olympics, she had a break. In addition, she was part of the gold medal winning American teams in the two World Championships. As a young girl, she began to learn gymnastics. Her favorite sport is doing floor exercises. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in honor of her grandmother who died from cancer. Aly hopes to achieve an enviable career in fashion. Leotards that she has designed, socks and other items will be expanded in the near future. Fierce, a new book she's working on, will be released later in the year.
